Himan Brown Fellows | The Himan Brown Trust Fellowship

The School of Education has received a $1 Million gift from the Himan Brown Trust to provide scholarships for students interested in studying abroad. This scholarship is exclusively for Syracuse University School of Education students.

API Diversity Scholarships

API Diversity Scholarship API is pleased to provide a diversity scholarship in order to support students from a variety of backgrounds. In order to be eligible, students must be one or more of the following: a U.S. military veteran, a non-traditional student (30 years old or older), a student with a disability, a minority student, and/or a LGBTQ student.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

The Gilman Scholarship is a program of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). ECA fosters mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries to promote friendly, sympathetic, and peaceful relations.

CIEE Gilman Global Grant

Applicants for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship can apply for the CIEE Gilman Go Global Grant, which provides both program cost support and support for airfare. Students will have to provide proof of having applied to the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, upon request. Go Global Grants are available for summer, semester and year-long CIEE programs.

Summer Programs: $1,000 toward program costs and $1,500 toward airfare
